Human Trafficking Crisis: Abike Dabiri-Erewa's Mission to Rescue Nigerian Girls in Ghana
Abike Dabiri-Erewa, head of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, visited Ghana to intervene in the rescue of 10 Nigerian girls trafficked for prostitution. She emphasized eradicating human trafficking and urged collective efforts for prosecution. The girls, aged 15 to 18, were lured with false promises of jobs. Both Nigerian state governments involved pledged support for rehabilitation.
